1. Information we collect
None. CashCal does not collect, transmit, store on a server, sell or share any personal or usage data. There are no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. The app does not request the Android internet permission, so it cannot send data anywhere.
2. Data stored on your device
To make the app convenient, a small amount of information is saved only on your phone, in CashCal's private app storage:
- The values you last entered in each calculator
- Calculations you choose to save, and your favourite calculators
- Your settings — language and theme
VisionOne7 cannot access this information. You can delete it at any time by deleting saved items in the app, clearing the app's data in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app.
3. Backups
If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include CashCal's on-device data in your personal Google account backup so it can be restored on a new phone. This backup is managed by you and Google under Google's privacy policy; VisionOne7 has no access to it.
4. Sharing, PDF and copy
When you tap Share, PDF or Copy, CashCal creates the image, PDF or text on your phone and hands it to the app you choose through the standard Android share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it, and it goes only to the app or person you pick.
5. Permissions
| Permission | Used? |
|---|---|
| Internet / network | No — removed from the app |
| Location, camera, microphone, contacts, phone, SMS | No |
| Photos, media or file storage | No — shared files are created in the app's private cache |
| Vibrate | Yes — a normal permission used by the app framework for touch feedback; it gives no access to your data |
6. Ratings prompt
After you have used CashCal a few times, the app may show Google Play's official in-app review prompt. This is handled entirely by the Google Play Store app; CashCal never sees your rating or review.
7. Children
CashCal is intended for adults managing their finances. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
8. Accuracy and no advice
Results are estimates for planning, based on rules and rates published by the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka at the time of each release. They are not financial, tax, investment or legal advice. CashCal is an independent app and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any government body.
